This was a very quick project, as we only had to add flooring to a small space. The first thing we did was measure and cut our underlayment to fit the space. We then stapled our first plank in the corner, since we were instructed to do some type of pattern. From there, we cut one side of the plank to 45 degrees and positioned it in place to be cut down to size. We repeated this process until the last corner piece, which we fitted into place by lifting the previous plank.

I would say this was one of the more straightforward builds that we had. I also had a little bit of previous experience going into this build, so there wasn’t too much that I had learned beyond how to install different flooring patterns. Regardless, I still enjoyed learning the process and I wish we could have also learned how to stain the wood.
